Ahoy, Van Club! Join us in Rye for a three-night Pirates on Parade rally with a Murder Mystery, live music and a BBQ. Bring your pirate outfits and enjoy a summer break coinciding with Saturday’s Rye Pirates and Smugglers Day. Dust off your tricorn hats and practise your best “arrr”! Join The Van Club at Rye Rugby Club from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th August 2027 for our Pirates on Parade rally. Get into the swashbuckling spirit with pirate fancy dress, friendly company and plenty to enjoy throughout your stay: - Murder Mystery: Turn detective and help unravel the clues. Who’s hiding a secret among our pirate crew? - Live music: Enjoy a lively evening together. - BBQ: Gather for food, a chat and some summer relaxation. - Rye Pirates and Smugglers Day: Head into Rye on Saturday to enjoy the celebrations. The club’s bar is booked for Friday evening, giving us a place to gather for a drink after a day out. There’s also time to explore Rye or simply relax beside your van between activities.
